Is there any computer software I need to download and install so that I can start trading?
No. You aren’t required to download and/or install any software on your PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet to begin trading with Tradelax. Our trading platform is 100% web-based. You just need a computing device and a good internet connection to begin trading.

What can I trade online?
Trade and trading are among the most frequently used terms in regards to online trading. However, their use can be misleading. In online trading, you invest as opposed to buying/selling anything. The reason why the terms trade and trading are common is simply because the price of assets like currencies, stocks, and commodities are usually influenced by global market trade.

Is there a minimum/maximum investment limit per contract?
Yes. The minimum amount you can invest is 25 (GBP/EUR), while the max is 2500 (GBP/EUR). However, you can invest more than 2500(GBP/EUR). To do this, talk to your personal customer representative. He/she will advise you accordingly on investing beyond the standard limit.
How do I open a Tradelax account?
We have a fast and easy account opening process divided into 5 simple steps discussed below:
Step 1: Go to the Tradelax homepage and click on the “open your account” button to be directed to the a/c registration form
Step 2: Complete the registration form
Step 3: Choose a preferred currency (GBP or EUR)
Step 4: Enter the digital security code (provided on the page) and submit the registration form (click the “submit button”)
Step 5: Check your email & click the “verification” link to verify your a/c and complete the Tradelax account registration process.
Should I deposit funds immediately when I open my account?
No. You don’t need any money to open a Tradelax account. However, you’ll need to deposit some money to begin investing. We also remind our new clients of their 0.00 balance shortly after they open accounts and help them to get started.

Tradelax doesn’t pressure clients to deposit funds. We give all our clients the freedom to deposit and start trading when they are ready to do so.
Will I be required to pay tax?
We don’t involve ourselves in our client’s tax matters. We advise our clients to talk to tax authorities in their respective countries to get accurate guidance on tax matters.

The minimum deposit is 250 EUR/GBP. The max. deposit amount varies depending on the payment method you decide to use. Wire transfers have no maximum deposit limit. However, if you are using a credit card, you can only deposit 20,000 EUR/GBP or below.

What does the term “SWIFT Code” mean?
SWIFT Code is a unique identifying code for different banks globally. Every bank has a unique swift code. When withdrawing money from your account, you’ll need to provide us with your bank’s swift code.
Important: Your bank’s SWIFT CODE is just a requirement for funds transfer. It doesn’t, in any way, provide/reveal any sensitive/private information about you.
Can I cancel my withdrawal request?
Yes. If you make a withdrawal request, but change your mind soon after (for whatever reason), you can cancel your request. Simply call or email us immediately to cancel a withdrawal request.
Can I deposit money into my trading account via a wire transfer?
Yes! Tradelax accepts wire transfers straight from a client’s bank. However, it’s recommendable to talk to your bank before initiating the wire transfer just to know the fees associated with such transfers. You can also call/email our customer support team or a Tradelax customer representative to get answers on any questions about wire transfers.
Important: Wire transfer transactions attract a commission of €20. It’s also worth noting that wire transfers may take up to 5 days before the funds reflect on your trading account. Lastly, remember to notify us via email when you make a wire transfer for us to facilitate the process.
What payment methods are there for making a deposit?
Tradelax has many payment methods that can be used to fund your account. However, we only allow MasterCard and Visa card payments because of the security that comes with the two card payment method. Visa and MasterCard offer sophisticated high-end encryption that guarantees data security. You can deposit using Visa and MasterCard without worrying about data security. Besides Visa and MasterCard, you can use a bank wire transfer to fund your account.
What are the steps to withdraw my funds?
Before you withdraw money from Tradelax, your account must be fully verified. To verify your account, complete the KYC (Know Your Client) process completely by submitting all the required KYC documents. These documents include a government-issued ID, proof of address as well as proof of card ownership. If you used the card to fund your account, you must prove that that card is yours. KYC documents can be sent to us via email: [email protected]
If you comply with the above KYC process and get your account completely verified, you can withdraw funds anytime without problems.
Important: We process withdrawal requests within 7 business days. It’s also worth noting that money can take up to 48 hours to reflect in your a/c after we send it. Tradelax isn’t responsible for this delay. The delay could be linked to the time taken to process worldwide banking system payments.
WARNING! Tradelax has strict policies against Money Laundering. We take serious measures to prevent money laundering and other fraudulent actions. If the withdrawal request exceeds the money deposited via your debit or credit card when funding your account, we won’t send more than what you initially deposited to that card. Instead, we will ask for your bank account details and send the extra funds lawfully.
What does the term “long trade” mean?
When trading, you need to predict if an asset’s price will rise or fall over a given time. If you predict an asset’s value will increase over time, you should place a buy order or a long trade. If the asset’s value increases over time as per your prediction, you can sell the asset and make a profit.
What does the term “short trade” mean?
If you predict an asset’s price will fall over time, you should place a sell order or short trade. If the asset’s value decreases over time as per your prediction, you can close your position and make a profit.
What do the rates on the trading boxes mean?
The Tradelax trading platform has various asset prices, and they’re based on live feeds.
I can’t place a trade. What’s the problem?
You can’t place a trade successfully with us if you don’t have enough funds in your trading account. This is a major reason why many traders have problems placing trades with Tradelax. The solution to this problem is simple – make sure your account has enough funds before you attempt to place a trade.
